Ned Mahic

Ned is the managing partner of 9606 Capital. He applies two decades of experience in financing, developing, leasing, and investing to create value for all stakeholders, from investors to end-users.

A born entrepreneur, Ned has always strived to tackle pressing social problems through sustainable commercial solutions. Not long after he immigrated to the U.S. in 1994, he realized a business opportunity based on his personal experience: improving the cash flow of residential buildings by operating them as settlement centers and attracting industrious newcomers. He thus witnessed the use of real estate to make a difference in people’s lives.

When he later ventured into new segments of real estate, Ned re-applied this same philosophy – “creating a unique product that end-users truly value.” In so doing, he repeated outsized returns in student housing, self-storage, and industrial buildings. 

Ned was born in the former Yugoslavia, where he lived until he was 18 years old. He graduated with a degree in Information Technology degree from American Intercontinental University.
